We have reached out to organisations working with young people to support our latest national research programme funded by Youth Futures Foundation.
The research aimed to analyse the needs, future training and employment opportunities within the manual trades sector with a focus on young people aged 16- to 24-year-olds. It aims to better understand young people's thoughts around the manual trades, their participation on programmes focused on the construction industry and manual trades and any barriers or perceptions of the industry. We will also be looking at what routes exist to enter the manual trade industry, amongst other areas of concerns.
