Community Ownership Fund: Update
The government has now released the prospectus for Round 3 of the Community Ownership Fund. Applications will open on 31 May. The new prospectus incorporates some of the changes we have been calling for, including a reduction in the requirement for match-funding and an increase in the maximum funding amount from £250,000 to £1 million.
Locality is leading the development support programme, bringing together the knowledge and skills of 10 leading community support organisations through My Community. They can provide initial advice to all interested applicants to help organisations develop their plans and Expression of Interest.
Everyone's Environment Briefings
As part of the Everyone’s Environment coalition of partners, NPC have released the first in a series of briefings for funders, charities and policy-makers on how environmental change and policies are affecting young people, older people, disabled people, and people from ethnic minority communities that they serve.

Olmec launches its new Step Change Programme on May 27th!
Step Change is a holistic training programme for people from Black and minoritised backgrounds in Brent, Barking and Dagenham who are looking to get back into employment, start a social enterprise or
community leadership.
The programme is designed to build confidence in their skills, understand how employers think and gain the skills needed to become leaders both at work and in their communities.
Step Change is a free route for people of Black and minoritised communities to learn about employers, CVs, interviews, business planning, budgeting and social entrepreneurship.
Step Change is funded by the London Community Foundation

Community Resilience Climate Workshop
The Greater London Authority would like to invite you to their second virtual Community Resilience climate workshop on Thursday 1st June, with the focus on flood risk and flood action.
These workshops are hosted with the London Communities Emergencies Partnership and Bloomberg Associates. They’ll be joined by colleagues from British Red Cross, Communities Prepared, Environment Agency and more.
