BAMEStream is an alliance of practitioners, therapists, policy specialists, organisations, activists and academia who specialise in the areas of mental health and wellbeing and who’s core purpose during this Covid-19 pandemic is to bring the mental health needs of the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic community into the mainstream. BAMEStream emerged as part of our COVID-19 work.
As part of National Grief Awareness Week 2020, in collaboration with BAMEStream, we’re hosting 2 events this week.
Everyone experiences grief differently. There is no ‘normal’ or ‘right’ way to grieve. How we react will be influenced by many different things, including our cultural background and religious beliefs. On Sunday, we come together as a community in remembrance of those that we have loved and lost to Covid-19.
