16 community activists were brought together by The Lily Foundation for human development in Tobago to take part in a four-day process of exploring mental health and mental wellbeing on the Island.
Ubele led the process which resulted in three programmes which will come into being in the next few months. Participants noted that they have never been trained in a way that respected the skills and experience that they brought with them.
The training course was opened by Secretary for Health, Wellness and Family Development - Dr. Agatha Carrington. Ubele and Ubele directors have had a 15 year relationship with The Lily Foundation. We have collaborated on a number of projects including bring young people from Tobago, London, Amsterdam and Ghana together in Ghana for a month of leadership training.
