We’re delighted that Wolves Lane solar power is now up and running!
On Saturday, 20th July, we celebrated this achievement with our community. Drinks and nibbles accompanied great conversations and fun afternoon. Our wonderful solar panels installers, Luke Jeffreys and Ben Venus of Drakes Renewables, joined us to answer questions about our installation and about solar power in general.
Come and visit Wolves Lane Centre every Sunday (Open Sundays), especially on Sunday, 15th September (Wolves Lane Community Market).
Thanks to all our supporters for the solar panels which were installed in April-May 2019.
In particular to:
– the Mayor of London’s Crowdfunding Initiative (Local Enterprise Partnership for London – LEAP) for their contribution of £7500
– J Hus, musician, for a contribution of £4000

– over 150 local residents, site users and their friends who contributed to the crowdfunding appeal
