Last week, we went to Kew Gardens to see a wide selection of Chihuly’s art, including large-scale installations, sculptural works, and drawings. It was a beautiful sunny day spent with wonderful people.
Here’s a poem written by Kim Smith who visited Kew Gardens with us:
Freedom
Take me to the top of a green high hill
I stretch my body and point my hands towards a clear blue sky
I roll down the hill playfully
Hug an enormous oak tree with a friend
I’m taking in my oxygen break and really welcoming this
free natural resource at my disposal
Wonderful fresh air is most profound
Sunshine and warmth wrap my body
Laughter is roaring I’m free
Enjoy the photos from the day!
